Blog #4

The first thing I did before writing this paper was to try to figure out what special moments of my life impacted the most on me or that I could remember the best for some reason. This was very difficult, not to say impossible because there is never one moment in one’s life that is THE most important.
Your entire life shapes your character and the person that you are – not one moment in your life.

A lot of very different memories came up to my mind and I couldn’t figure out which one I should write or not. I decided then to stop thinking of it for a little while. When I went back at it, that time I decided to think of what moments were the ones that I enjoyed the most in my life - and I decided to write down the first ones that I could think of – and then what moments I thought that could be interesting to write and to describe which weren’t necessarily happy – and for this one I only wrote the first one that came up to my mind. There is also one story that I first wanted to write, but after some time, I realized that it would take way too long to describe it and to make it interesting for the reader. Therefore, I decided to let it apart.

Of course, all of my passages are about a pretty much close past, only because I think I wouldn’t have been able to remember enough of some older ones to make some accurate stories. For me, it was better to have more recent stories that were accurate than older ones for which I had to invent things to make them interesting.
