Blog #4- Executive Summary

       Friday's workshop was really helpful.  I am starting to get a better understanding of what is expected in this essay.  At first, I did not know where to start to write a snapshots paper, but after working with my classmates I began to understand.  I have never written a paper like this one and I really like the skills I have learned.  This last workshop I learned where I needed to head in the next direction so I could have a better paper.  Reading over my classmates essays, I have also learned a ton of interesting ideas to use.  The feedback is really helpful because I am more of a person who needs to be told what to do instead of just working on my own.  As a result, having direct feedback of what needs to be done is something that is helping me write my essay.  I also like reading others' essays and having specifics of what I need to look for in an essay.  Not only is it benefiting the other student, it is also benefiting me.  This entire process is a learning process and I am learning a ton of new writing techniques for future essays.
