Blog #4

Many of the snapshots I decided to use were in fact pretty easy to decide on. I used memories from my childhood and even some from maybe a year or two ago. Things that come to my mind without even thinking about it. That is because I believe that if you don't have to dig deep for something and it comes right to your mind it has to be something important, with a lot of meaning that I will never forget. Many of the things I wrote about have helped in one way or another to shape the person I am today. What helped me decide on what would be good to write and what wouldn't work was just thinking about how important that memory was and if I had a lot to say about it. Like the ones I used I felt like I could write a lot about and go into detail. As opposed to some memories I had I felt the opposite, that the picture I would create wouldn't be very descriptive.

  1. I completely agree with you. I chose most of my stories to share from my senior year. Those were the first memories I thought about when deciding what to write about for this paper. They meant the most to me and I remember the most details from each experience. If you are able to write a lot and have a lot of description for a story, then that should definitely be a reason as to why you chose it for your paper. Why not add a story that you remember and comes to your mind "without even thinking about it?" Most of my stories for my snapshots were developed because of that same way.
