As a researcher my interests lied where I was going to
attend college. Before this fall semester, my high school career was based upon
getting into the college of my choice by having the grades necessary to do so. I
asked questions about what type of G.P.A. and test scores I needed to get into
certain colleges. My research consisted of looking up different colleges and
trying to figure out if my scores were good enough to get into school there. It
was a very stressful process spending countless hours on applications and not
knowing if I was going to get in or not. I asked many questions about the universities when I was doing my
research such as what majors they offered and how I would I fit into the school.
This subject really doesn’t interest me anymore considering I am now enrolled
at Florida State. That is how I look at myself as a researcher thus far and I am
looking forward to see how my skills will develop in the future.
I think most of us can relate to this post. However, I completely agree with what you did. I myself spent countless hours researching different school with my major and activities I was interested in. With something like where you want to attend college, it is important to find the right fit for you. Without researching fairly deep, you will not find out if the school you choose is right for you.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to this a lot . Before I dec to come to Florida State I spent days looking at what majors other schools had to offer. Almost everyday I search the grade requirements and the test score requirements.
